What we will be doing
Waves, shine, and a whole lotta pour decisions.
Get ready to dive into the world of resin art — where colour, texture, and shiny ocean vibes come together in one smooth pour. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create your very own Beachscape masterpiece using epoxy resin, vibrant pigments, and a bit of technique (plus a little magic).
We’ll teach you the ropes: how resin works, what to mix (and what not to), and how to get those beautiful coastline-style swirls and ocean effects that are equal parts mesmerising and addictive.
What can you make?
Four coasters are included in the base fee. If you prefer to create on a different item, you can upgrade your project instead of the coasters. Simply choose one of the following options when booking your ticket.
Available upgrades include:
- Framed Pictur
- Cutboard
- Clock
- Tray
- Coffee Table (yes, really!)
You’ll learn all the tools, tips, and hacks:
✨ How to get that coastline-style swirls and ocean effects
✨ What to do (and what not to do) when pouring resin
✨ How to mix your pigments for galaxy effects
Perfect for beginners, DIY-lovers, and anyone who’s mesmerised by that moment when the colours start to swirl.
✨ How PIE Resin Workshops Runs
You arrive, take a breath, pick your welcome drink, and settle in at your table — where the magic begins. We start on time, so make sure you’re ready to dive in.
Your instructor gives you an in-depth introduction to the materials and technique — nothing overwhelming, just enough to get you comfortable and inspired. They’ll also demonstrate the process step by step in real time, sharing the essential know-how so you can skip the long trial-and-error phase. You’ll learn how to mix your resin to the right consistency, control the flow, and use different techniques without creating unnecessary chaos.
Then the fun begins. You’re guided step by step through the painting process, with plenty of room to experiment, play, and make it your own. Sip your drink, enjoy the moment, and let the creativity flow.
We provide everything you need:
- A warm and friendly learning environment
- All necessary materials and tools
- A mix of demonstration & individual guidance
- Artistic freedom — everyone interprets the technique their own way
Whether you’re a motivated beginner or a curious creative, this is the space to dive deeper, discover new methods, and leave with a skill that sticks. All you need to bring is your good vibes and curiosity! We’ll take care of the rest — starting with a complimentary welcome drink 🥂 to spark your creativity.
✨ Safety Info
Working with resin can create light vapours during the process — this is part of the material and how it behaves. While we use high-quality, art-grade products, we recommend this workshop for guests aged 15+ and advise against participation if you are pregnant or have sensitive respiratory conditions (such as asthma). Our studio is well ventilated and sessions are time-limited, but your comfort and safety are important to us. That’s why we offer a few options for you to choose what feels right:
•Bring your own mask
Feel free to bring a suitable respirator or fine dust mask (FF A1P2 or higher) and wear it during the session.
• Rent a mask (CHF 10.–)
We’re happy to provide you with a mask equipped with a fresh filter for the duration of the workshop. Simply return it afterwards — the fee covers the filter.
• Join without a mask
If you decide not to wear a mask, we’ll ask you to sign a short waiver confirming that you’ve been informed and are comfortable participating without respiratory protection.
Storage & Shipping
Your creations need approximately 48 hours to fully cure and dry, so they can’t be taken home on the day of the workshop.
Once ready, your artwork will be available for pick-up at our studio for up to two weeks after your session. As our storage space is limited, we’re only able to keep pieces for this period.
If you’re unable to collect your work within these two weeks, you can also choose our shipping service — simply let your instructor know on site during or at the end of the workshop. After the two-week window, we unfortunately can no longer guarantee storage of your artwork.
