Oil Painting - Safety Info
In our oil painting workshops we use turpentine, which produces strong vapours and must be handled with care. For this reason, the workshop is recommended for guests aged 15+ and not suitable during pregnancy or for children.

We provide gloves for safe painting, and the studio is well ventilated to ensure a comfortable environment. If you have any concerns, our instructors are happy to help.

Dive into the deep, dark, and dazzling as we paint one of the ocean’s most mesmerizing creatures: the jellyfish. Ethereal, elegant, and slightly alien, these drifting wonders take center stage in this glowing, one-night-only art session.

A portrait session for devoted humans and the four-legged icons they adore.
Your pet is already a star — now it’s time to immortalise them in paint.

In this custom, joy-filled session, you’ll create a one-of-a-kind portrait of your beloved animal (real, imagined, or emotionally adopted). Think soulful eyes, majestic fluff, and maybe a tiny crown or a glass of wine in paw — because obviously.

After you book, you’ll send us a few photos of your pet. Our artist will choose the most paint-worthy one and prepare a drawing template for you, so when you show up, the canvas (or plate!) is ready and waiting. Yes — you can also choose to paint your pet onto a ceramic plate. Because what’s better than eating spaghetti off your dog’s face? Nothing.

With step-by-step guidance and space for your weirdest, cutest ideas, this session is part portrait, part love letter, and 100% celebration.

No experience needed — just a good pet photo and a little flair.

To prepare your personal pet portrait, please send us 3–5 good-quality photos of your pet to:

What we need:

• High resolution (we will print the photos)
• Your pet’s face clearly visible (we only paint the portrait)
• Preferably direct light with clear light and shadow – this makes the painting process much easier for you
• Ideally a closed mouth (no visible teeth or tongue) – also helps keep the painting process simple and relaxed

Deadline:
Please send your photos at least 3 days before the workshop.
If we don’t receive your photos by then, your booking will be automatically moved to the next available workshop date, so we can prepare everything properly.

You arrive at our Studio at Wallstrasse 14 and ease into the experience with a curated brunch — a moment to settle in, connect, and get into the right mood before painting.

After brunch, the creative part of the experience begins. Your instructor takes the stage, giving you a quick, easy intro to the materials and techniques, before leading you step by step into the painting process with plenty of room to play, experiment, and make it your own. No pressure — just space to unwind, explore, and enjoy the moment.

At the end, we bring everyone together for a group photo — your finished piece, great vibes.

No prior experience? No problem! We provide everything:

You can choose to paint in pairs, where two canvases become one artwork. The theme is split in two, and each of you paints one half that aligns perfectly with the other.

A lush island, a heat-soaked breeze, and colour that feels almost musical.
In this richly expressive oil painting session, we travel to Tenerife — where vibrant landscapes unfold under a late afternoon sun, and nature feels both wild and harmonious. In the foreground, a cluster of lush, tropical greenery anchors the scene, leading the eye into rolling forms of vegetation, volcanic undertones, and distant light.

The painting is driven by saturated greens and deep, atmospheric purples, layered and blended to create a sense of abundance, depth, and movement. At the same time, you’ll aim to capture that contrast only found in island air — the freshness of the ocean wind cutting through the warmth of the sun, softening and sharpening the landscape all at once.

Inspired by the expressive handling and luminous atmosphere of John Singer Sargent, we’ll focus on confident brushwork, fluid transitions, and building form through colour rather than tight detail. You’ll learn how to layer oils to create richness and depth, how to balance cool and warm tones within the same composition, and how to let brushstrokes remain alive and visible.

In our oil painting workshops we use turpentine, which produces strong vapours and must be handled with care. For this reason, the workshop is recommended for guests aged 15+ and not suitable during pregnancy or for children.

We provide gloves for safe painting, and the studio is well ventilated to ensure a comfortable environment. If you have any concerns, our instructors are happy to help.
