Heavy Blossom

Guided Acrylic Painting Workshop

  • Workshop

  • ZÜRICH · PIE Action Painting Park
  • 2.5 Hours
from 75.– CHF

Up to 20% discount for Members

Heavy Blossom. Petals in 3D. Spring you can almost touch.
Ever wanted to paint something so lush you feel like you could pluck it off the canvas? This is your moment.

In this semi-guided, textured acrylic session, you’ll create a dreamy cherry blossom branch in soft pink hues, set against a hazy pastel background. With modelling paste, you’ll build thick, velvety petals and a sturdy branch that practically pop out of the painting.

We’ll guide you in mixing tender tones, sculpting with your palette knife, and layering texture so the blossoms feel weighty, rich, and irresistibly touchable.
Perfect for beginners, texture lovers, and anyone who wants to bring a little springtime magic into their space — no matter the season.

Guided Acrylic Painting Workshop

Up to 20% discount for Members

Bright mountains, a shimmering lake, and light that feels almost alive.
Step into a radiant alpine world where the air is crystal clear and colours glow with a quiet, powerful intensity. Inspired by the luminous spirit and rhythmic compositions of Ferdinand Hodler, we’ll step into his footsteps and explore how to build a landscape through expressive brushwork and layered painting.

In this session, you’ll learn how to create depth and perspective in a landscape — how distant peaks, water, and sky can unfold through colour, contrast, and structure. We’ll explore how to bring dynamic, energetic detail into the brushwork while still holding the whole composition together as a unified, harmonious scene.

We’ll guide you through shimmering water, luminous layering techniques, and the gentle geometry of alpine peaks. You bring your curiosity and calm focus — and a willingness to enter a landscape that feels slightly brighter, more alive, and more structured than reality itself.

Soft and glowing like the first light of day.
In this textured painting session, we capture a delicate dandelion — lit in warm amber and golden-orange tones. Light, dreamy, and quietly striking, this piece is all about contrast, texture, and softness meeting structure.

We’ll be working with texture paste to gently build dimension, creating a subtle raised surface that gives the dandelion its almost touchable quality. You’ll learn how to apply and shape the paste in a controlled way — enough to create depth, while keeping that light, fragile feel.

We move into palette knife techniques, exploring how to layer and softly “tap” and pull the paint to form those delicate, radiating shapes. It’s a beautiful balance between precision and letting go — allowing the texture to guide the outcome.
Light, poetic, and full of quiet movement — a little moment of nature, captured in texture. ✨

Pollock in Pajamas

Action Painting Workshop for Kids & Parents

  • Workshop
  • Beginner
  • ZÜRICH · PIE Action Painting Park
  • 1.5 hours
from 70.– CHF

Up to 20% discount for Members

Splash. Laugh. Glow.

Some kids love colouring inside the lines.
Others were born to throw paint.

Pollock in Pyjamas is our energetic Saturday Action Painting experience for children aged 6–12 who love to move, experiment and create without limits. Inspired by the freedom of Action Painting, every session encourages young artists to discover colours, movement and their own imagination in a playful, pressure-free environment.

After a short creative introduction, our artist demonstrates exciting Action Painting techniques and shows how different tools can create completely different effects. Then it’s time to let loose. Children splash, drip, flick, roll and layer paint while discovering that every mark on the canvas becomes the starting point for the next creative idea.

There are no predefined motifs and no right or wrong answers—only curiosity, experimentation and colourful surprises.

Towards the end of the workshop, we switch off the lights and turn on the UV lights. Suddenly fluorescent paints begin to glow, colours transform, and the studio becomes an entirely new creative playground. Children can continue painting under blacklight or simply enjoy watching their artwork come to life in a completely different way.

Each participant creates their own artwork on a 30 × 40 cm canvas, with the option to upgrade to a larger canvas during booking.

Parents are welcome to join the experience and paint alongside their children—or simply relax in our lounge while the little artists enjoy their creative adventure.

Every session is different. Every painting is unique. Every child leaves with colourful memories—and usually a very big smile.

Galaxies, friendship & a little cosmic charm.
In this dreamy painting session, we bring a classic moment to life:
The Little Prince and his fox — sitting on their tiny planets, staring into the stars, thinking deep (and probably adorable) thoughts.

You’ll recreate this sweet, spacey scene with soft colours, flowing lines, and a big dose of heart. Along the way, you’ll learn how to paint an effortless galaxy and sprinkle stars across your sky — simple techniques that create that magical, glowing universe effect without the stress.

It’s peaceful, a little playful, and perfect for anyone who loves the quiet magic of childhood stories — even as a grown-up.
No experience needed. Just show up and paint something that feels like a warm hug from another planet. ✨🦊

Paint Your Pet Portrait

Guided Acrylic Painting Workshop

  • Workshop
  • Beginner
  • ZÜRICH · PIE Action Painting Park
  • 2.5 Hours
from 80.– CHF

Up to 20% discount for Members

A portrait session for devoted humans and the four-legged icons they adore.
Your pet is already a star — now it’s time to immortalise them in paint.

In this custom, joy-filled session, you’ll create a one-of-a-kind portrait of your beloved animal (real, imagined, or emotionally adopted). Think soulful eyes, majestic fluff, and maybe a tiny crown or a glass of wine in paw — because obviously.

After you book, you’ll send us a few photos of your pet. Our artist will choose the most paint-worthy one and prepare a drawing template for you, so when you show up, the canvas (or plate!) is ready and waiting. Yes — you can also choose to paint your pet onto a ceramic plate. Because what’s better than eating spaghetti off your dog’s face? Nothing.

With step-by-step guidance and space for your weirdest, cutest ideas, this session is part portrait, part love letter, and 100% celebration.

No experience needed — just a good pet photo and a little flair.

Important 🐾
To prepare your personal pet portrait, please send us 3–5 good-quality photos of your pet to:
design@paintiteasy.ch

What we need:

  • High resolution (we will print the photos)
  • Your pet’s face clearly visible (we only paint the portrait)
  • Preferably direct light with clear light and shadow – this makes the painting process much easier for you
  • Ideally a closed mouth (no visible teeth or tongue) – also helps keep the painting process simple and relaxed

Deadline:
Please send your photos at least 3 days before the workshop.
If we don’t receive your photos by then, your booking will be automatically moved to the next available workshop date, so we can prepare everything properly.
Thanks a lot – this helps us create the best possible portrait of your pet 💛

Bringing your pet 🐶🐱
Yes, you’re welcome to bring your pet along to the workshop (we love it!).
Just make sure they’re well-behaved, comfortable around people and other animals, not disruptive, and not dangerous – basically the kind of guest we’d happily invite again 💛

Michelangelo in Pajamas

Kids & Parents Guided Ceramics Workshop

  • Workshop
  • Beginner
  • ZÜRICH · PIE Ceramics Studio
  • 2 hours
from 60.– CHF

Up to 20% discount for Members

Saturday morning sculpting for little hands and big imaginations.

Clay is squishy, messy, wonderfully forgiving – and capable of becoming pretty much anything.

At Michelangelo in Pajamas, kids explore the world of ceramics through playful, guided projects designed to get their hands moving and their imaginations going. One week it might be a funky mug, another a funny creature, a colourful bowl or something completely unexpected.

Our instructors introduce the project and techniques step by step, but this isn’t about making ten identical little masterpieces. Kids are encouraged to experiment, add their own ideas and turn the project into something unmistakably theirs.

Parents and accompanying adults are very welcome to join the fun too – create something together, work side by side, or let your little Michelangelo take over the creative part.

PJs optional. Clay under the fingernails? Pretty much guaranteed.
