Holiday activities for children - creative experiences with a varied programme
Welcome to our Kids Camp, where creativity and adventure go hand in hand! Throughout the week, we’ll paint, work with clay, and dive into all sorts of crafty projects. We’ll also explore museums, play games both indoors and outdoors, watch an artsy movie together, and start every morning with a little yoga and dance to wake up our bodies and imaginations. It’s the perfect mix of movement, creativity, and big smiles.

Your camp fee includes all art materials, entry to external activities, and all daily meals (znüni, lunch, and zvieri). The only extra cost not included is transportation for excursions, such as tram tickets.

Schedule & Location of Our Holiday Camp
Our holiday camps run on weekdays over a two-week period, with daily supervision from 8:45 am to 5:15 pm. Each group is kept cosy and creative with a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 16 children.

Daily Schedule*
08:45 – 09:00 Drop-off time
09:00 – 10:15 Yoga, dance & active warm-ups
10:15 – 10:30 Znüni (morning snack)
10:30 – 12:00 Morning art project
12:00 – 12:45 Lunch
12:45 – 15:15 Excursions (indoor or outdoor adventures)
15:30 – 17:00 Afternoon art project
17:00 – 17:15 Pick-up

*Outdoor activities and excursions may be adjusted depending on the weather — creativity never stops, but sometimes umbrellas join the fun.

Language
While most of our instructors speak German, the official camp language is English.

Location
Our camp takes place across two nearby studios: Bederstrasse 94 and Schulhausstrasse 52. Morning drop-offs take place at Bederstrasse 94, while afternoon pick-ups happen at Schulhausstrasse 52. The two locations are only a 3-minute walk apart.

!!! Important Information for Parents (Please Read Before Signing Up) !!!

Age Requirements
Our camp is designed for children aged 6 and above. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate younger children, even if an older sibling is participating. The majority of our campers are between 8 and 9 years old, and the program, activities, and overall pace of the day are tailored specifically to this age group.

Younger children often find it challenging to keep up comfortably, and we want every participant to feel confident, included, and safe. Thank you very much for your understanding.

Drop-off & Pick-up Times
To keep our camp running smoothly, we kindly ask all parents to respect the official drop-off and pick-up times.

Drop-off begins at 8:45 am
, and we may not be able to accommodate early arrivals, as our team is preparing the space and activities for the day.
Similarly, we ask that all children are picked up no later than 5:15 pm. If a child is picked up late, an additional supervision fee may apply to cover the staff’s extended time.

Thank you so much for your understanding and cooperation — it helps us create the best possible environment for all campers!

Food
Although we provide food throughout the day, we kindly ask that your child arrives having had a proper breakfast. Our morning snack consists of a smoothie and a cookie, which may not be enough to keep children energized until lunch if they start the day hungry.

Behaviour Expectations
To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all children, we kindly ask parents to understand that repeatedly disruptive behaviour cannot be accommodated.

If a child’s behaviour consistently interrupts the group or prevents activities from running safely, we may need to contact parents for an early pick-up.
Please note that refunds are not possible in such cases.

Children Requiring Additional Support
We want every child to have a positive and safe experience at camp. However, our current team structure does not allow us to provide the level of individual support required for children with certain disabilities or special needs. We have two instructors supervising the group, and they unfortunately do not have the training, resources, or capacity to offer the specialized care, attention, or support that some children may require.

For this reason, we may not be able to accommodate children who need dedicated or specialized support.
We truly appreciate your understanding, and we make this decision solely to ensure the wellbeing and safety of all children in our care.

A wild abstract painting session full of colour, chaos, and satisfying texture.
Who needs brushes when you’ve got a spatula, a mountain of modelling paste, and a whole mood to express?

In this bold, all-in painting session, you’ll layer, swipe, and sculpt your way into pure colour play — no plan, no pressure, just bold marks and thick textures that practically stand off the canvas.

We’ll work point by point, swipe by swipe, building up vibrant patterns and punchy colour fields that shift as you move. It’s a little pointillist, a little sculptural, and totally freeing.

Expect music, mess, and moments of accidental brilliance. This one’s for anyone who’s ever wanted to stop thinking and just create.

More colour. More texture. More joy.
Bring the energy — we’ve got the paste.

Drawing isn’t just a skill — it’s how you learn to see the world.

In this 6-week foundation course, you’ll build the most essential skill in all of visual arts: the ability to observe, interpret, and translate the 3D world around you onto a flat surface.

Through structured exercises, step-by-step techniques, and personal guidance, you’ll learn how to truly see shapes, light, proportions, and perspective — and how to bring life, soul, and composition to anything you draw.

This course is perfect for beginners and creative explorers who want to strengthen their artistic foundation before moving on to painting, illustration, or any other medium.

  • Structured exercises to sharpen observation & drawing skills
  • Personal tips to help you build your confidence and style

Golden Tears (in the style of Gustav Klimt)

Paint & Sip – PIE Guided Painting Event

  • PIE Event

A quiet face. A bold feeling. And tears worth their weight in gold.

Inspired by the evocative work Freya’s Tears — often mistaken for Klimt, but actually painted by Anne Marie Zilberman — this piece focuses on a close-up of a woman’s face, both strong and soft, quiet and glowing.

In this painting session, you’ll bring your own interpretation to this elegant, emotional portrait, where sorrow and beauty sit side by side. With expressive brushwork, gilded accents, and subtle texture, you’ll explore the idea that tears — whether of grief or joy — are a kind of golden truth.

It’s powerful. It’s gentle. And it’s always a favourite.

from 75.– CHF

Up to 20% discount for Members

Because your morning coffee tastes better from something you made yourself.

In this 2-hour Shape & Fun ceramics event, you’ll create your very own hand-built ceramic cup — from a soft block of clay to a fully functional mug, tumbler, or teacup (bravery determines size, no pressure).

With the help of our instructor, you’ll learn the basics of shaping, smoothing, and personalising your cup — all in a relaxed, supportive environment. Whether you go for sleek and modern or charmingly wobbly, it’s all about making something uniquely yours.

Not sure where to start? Don’t worry — we’ve got examples to spark ideas, and plenty of guidance to help bring your cup to life.

🎨 Want to decorate it later? You’ll get a discount to join one of our painting sessions and add colour and flair to your handmade creation.
🔥 After the event, we’ll glaze and fire your cup. It’ll be ready for pickup in about 3–4 weeks.

Perfect for absolute beginners, curious creatives, and anyone who’s ever thought:
“I’d love to make something I can actually use.”

✨ How PIE Ceramics Events Work

Whether you come solo, with friends, or for a team night out, you’ll enjoy a feel-good atmosphere, great company, and your very own ceramic creation to take home (well… after it’s been fired 😉).

Most of our events take place in our beautiful, cosy studios in Zürich and Basel — fully equipped, full of charm, and designed to spark your imagination. Every now and then, we also pop up in partner venues like bars, cafés, or sunny outdoor locations.
