What we will be doing
Bold, textured, and glowing with autumn fire.
Against a deep, moody blue background rises a majestic tree — bursting with vibrant oranges, golden yellows, and those last glowing leaves that feel like they’re holding onto summer just a little longer.
In this painting session, we’re putting the brushes aside (well, mostly) and diving into palette knife magic. You’ll learn how to sculpt your tree with thick, expressive layers of paint — building real, tangible texture that gives your artwork a beautiful three-dimensional feel. Think less flat painting, more “I kind of want to touch it.”
We’ll explore how to mix a range of warm autumn hues — from fiery orange to soft golden tones — and how to set them against that deep blue for maximum contrast and glow. It’s all about letting colours play, collide, and shine.

You arrive, take a breath, pick your welcome drink and settle into your spot at the table where the magic will happen. We start on time, so make sure you`re there and ready to dive in.
Next, your instructor takes the stage, giving you a quick, easy intro to the materials — nothing overwhelming, just getting you comfortable and ready to play.
Then the fun really begins. You’ll be guided step by step through the painting process, with plenty of room to play, experiment, and make it your own. Sip your drink, enjoy the moment, and let the creativity flow.
At the end, we bring everyone together for a group photo — your finished piece, great vibes.

🖼️ Canvas Size & Upgrades
Your ticket includes a 30 x 40 cm canvas, which you can upgrade to a larger one (40x50cm) or even a round one (Ø 40 cm) - just choose the option when booking your ticket, or decide spontaneously at the workshop.
💞 Painting in Pairs? Yess, please!
Couples, besties, or family duos — this one’s for you:
You can choose to paint in pairs, where two canvases become one artwork. The theme is split in two, and each of you paints one half that aligns perfectly with the other.
If your`re interested in painting in pairs, just ask our artists on the spot whether your chosen theme is a good fit — they’ll guide you and set you up!
📋 Good to Know
- Arrival: Please arrive 10 minutes early to grab your drink and settle in.
- Length: Our 2.5-hour workshops include everything from settling in and creating to tidying up and a group photo. You’ll spend about 2 hours actively painting or working with ceramics.
- Cancellations: Tickets are transferable but non-refundable within 36 hours. You can reschedule your spot up to 72 hours before the workshop.
- Alcohol: Served only to guests aged 18+.

We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before the workshop starts so you have time to enjoy your complimentary welcome drink, settle in, and get ready for the creative experience.
Once everyone has arrived, your artist will introduce the materials and guide you step by step through the painting process. There’s plenty of room to experiment, make the artwork your own, and simply enjoy a relaxed creative evening.
At the end of the workshop, we’re happy to take photos of you and your finished artwork. We’ll also dry your painting as much as possible and provide you with a paper carry bag so you can safely take it home.

Want to paint together? Couples, friends and family can also create one artwork across two canvases. Simply ask your instructor whether your chosen theme works well as a split painting, and they’ll be happy to help you set it up.
Tickets may be transferred to someone else at any time.

Our workshops are designed for complete beginners as well as experienced painters. Your artist will guide you step by step, while still giving you plenty of freedom to make your artwork your own.
Every workshop ticket includes one complimentary welcome drink to help you settle in and get your creativity flowing.
Across our Creative Cafés, you can choose from a carefully selected range of hot drinks, soft drinks and, for guests aged 18+, simple alcoholic beverages.
Typical options include:

The exact selection may vary slightly between locations, but we’ll always have something delicious waiting for you.
We provide aprons, and acrylic paint usually washes off skin easily. However, we still recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting a little paint on, just in case creativity gets a bit enthusiastic!
Of course! If you booked together, we’ll seat you together automatically whenever possible.
If you booked separately, simply let us know when you arrive, and we’ll do our best to seat you together.
We generally recommend taking your artwork home with you after the workshop. Even if it’s still a little wet, we’ll dry it as much as possible and provide a paper carry bag designed for transporting fresh paintings safely.
If you’d still prefer to leave your painting with us, that’s no problem. We can store it for up to one week, after which it will need to be collected.
Yes!
If your workshop takes place in one of our Creative Cafés, you’re welcome to order additional drinks, coffee, cocktails, and food from our à la carte menu throughout your visit.
If your workshop is hosted in one of our Art Studios, you can still enjoy another round of drinks from our Welcome Drink Menu. Additional drinks in our studios are donation-based, so you can simply contribute what you feel is appropriate.
Most painting workshops last around 2.5 hours. This includes the introduction, the guided painting session, time to socialise, group photos, and wrapping up at the end.
Depending on the painting theme and the pace of the group, the actual duration may vary slightly—typically between 2 and 3 hours.
The expected duration of each workshop is always shown in the workshop description before you book.
