Looking to level up your clay game? This hands-on ceramics workshop is all about learning the ancient (and oddly satisfying) coiling technique — and using it to build your very own vessel or vase with serious personality.

With step-by-step guidance from our instructor, you’ll shape your piece coil by coil, curve by curve — building form, balance, and your own artistic flair as you go. Whether you lean classic or a little wild, there’s plenty of room to experiment with size, silhouette, and style.

Expect useful demos, creative detours, and a relaxed studio vibe that encourages questions, happy accidents, and the occasional “what if I try this?” moment.

In this class, you will create a vase or vessel approximately 20–25 cm tall. This size is achievable for beginners within the available time using the coiling technique.

Once your piece is complete, we’ll glaze and fire it for you. Ready for pickup in around 4 weeks.

In this wheel-throwing taster workshop, you’ll learn how to center, pull, and shape clay like a true ceramic boss. You’ll get hands-on with the basics of wheel-throwing — and walk away with at least one piece to call your own. Plus, you’ll leave knowing whether this hobby is a fling or the beginning of a full-blown love affair.

Ready to roll up your sleeves and make something truly yours? In this all-in-one ceramics event, you’ll shape and paint your very own leaf-inspired plate — earthy, elegant, and totally handmade by you.

Shape it

We’ll guide you through the basics of hand-building with clay, showing you how to form a beautiful plate with soft, organic curves inspired by nature. Whether you keep it simple or add textured details, this is your chance to slow down and get grounded (in the best way).

Paint it

Once your plate is shaped, you’ll dive into underglaze painting — adding colour, contrast, and your personal touch. Our instructors will be there to offer tips and inspo, but you make the creative calls. Botanical pattern? Bright autumn tones? Jungle chic? You do you.

🧡 After the event, we’ll take care of glazing and firing your piece. It’ll be ready to pick up in about 4 weeks — a little slice of ceramic joy, handmade and totally unique.

Saturday morning sculpting for kids (and cool parents too)

Sculpting in PJs? Yes please.
This playful Saturday morning class is made for kids aged 6–12 who want to squish, shape, and sculpt their way through clay. From mini statues to funky mugs, we get hands-on and a little messy — all in the name of creativity.

Parents are welcome to join and co-create with their kids. Whether you’re making masterpieces together or working side-by-side, it’s a weekend win.

Here’s how it flows:
🕥 10:15–10:30 → Drop-off
🎨 10:30–12:00 → Clay sculpting session
📸 12:00–12:15 → Pick-up

We’ll guide your little sculptors every step of the way — no experience needed, just a love for making things with your hands.

Finished pieces will stay with us for drying and firing and can be picked up about 2 weeks later.

All materials are included.

At this three-hour creative session, you’ll shape, sculpt, and decorate your own ceramic lamp base—no experience needed, just a willingness to get a little messy and make something beautifully yours.

This isn’t a class—it’s an invitation to play.
We’ll guide you through simple hand-building techniques (pinching, coiling, forming), then you’ll bring your piece to life with engobes—rich, coloured clays that add texture, depth, and serious personality.

Treat yourself to a hands-on creative moment — where you can sip, snack, and sculpt your way through a fun and relaxing ceramics session. Each event is led by one of our friendly ceramic artists, who’ll guide you step-by-step through shaping and decorating your piece. No pressure, no perfection — just good vibes, creative flow, and the joy of getting your hands dirty in the best possible way.

Most of our events take place in our beautiful, cosy studios in Zürich and Basel — fully equipped, full of charm, and designed to spark your imagination. Every now and then, we also pop up in partner venues like bars, cafés, or sunny outdoor locations.
