Description

Saturday morning sculpting for kids (and cool parents too)

Sculpting in PJs? Yes please.
This playful Saturday morning class is made for kids aged 6–12 who want to squish, shape, and sculpt their way through clay. From mini statues to funky mugs, we get hands-on and a little messy — all in the name of creativity.

Parents are welcome to join and co-create with their kids. Whether you’re making masterpieces together or working side-by-side, it’s a weekend win.

Here’s how it flows:
🕥 10:15–10:30 → Drop-off
🎨 10:30–12:00 → Clay sculpting session
📸 12:00–12:15 → Pick-up

We’ll guide your little sculptors every step of the way — no experience needed, just a love for making things with your hands.

Finished pieces will stay with us for drying and firing and can be picked up about 2 weeks later.

All materials are included.

PJs optional. Clay under your fingernails? Guaranteed.

Some of our workshops may be held in English depending on the instructor 😊 We really appreciate your openness and flexibility!

More Infos

👧 What age is Michelangelo in Pajamas for?

Michelangelo in Pajamas is designed for kids aged 6–12.

The projects and instructions are adapted to this age group, with plenty of guidance from our instructors and room for every child to interpret the project in their own way.

⏰ How does the session work?

You’re welcome to arrive a little earlier to settle in and get comfortable before we start.

Our Saturday morning sessions follow a simple rhythm:

10:15–10:30 → Arrival & drop-off
Come in, get settled and get ready to create.

10:30–12:00 → Creative session
Our instructor introduces the day’s project and demonstrates everything step by step. Then it’s time to create! The kids work on their own interpretations, with guidance and support whenever they need it.

12:00–12:15 → Pick-up
Time to see what your little artists have been up to and head home after a creative Saturday morning.

Parents and accompanying adults who have booked a spot simply join the creative session and work alongside the kids.

👨‍👩‍👧 Do parents have to stay?

Not at all!

You’re welcome to drop your child off before the session and pick them up afterwards.

But parents are also very welcome to join! If you feel like getting your hands into some clay too, simply book a spot for yourself and create alongside your child.

🎟️ What’s Included?

Everything your little sculptor needs:

  • Full guided ceramics session
  • Clay and all necessary materials
  • Tools and studio equipment
  • Decorating and glazing materials
  • Firing of the finished piece

No need to bring any materials from home.

🏺 What do we make?

Every Michelangelo in Pajamas session features a different ceramics project.

Kids might sculpt playful figures, build a funky mug, create a bowl, make decorative objects or explore another fun way of working with clay.

The project gives everyone a starting point, but there’s always plenty of room for imagination and individual interpretation.

👩‍🎨 Do we need any ceramics experience?

Not at all!

Michelangelo in Pajamas is designed so kids can jump straight in, even if they’ve never worked with clay before. Our instructors demonstrate the project step by step and help whenever needed.

Curiosity and a willingness to get your hands a little muddy are more than enough.

👕 Will we get clay on our clothes?

Possibly! Working with clay can get a little messy – that’s part of the fun.

We provide aprons, but we still recommend wearing comfortable clothes that don’t mind a little creative action.

🔥 Can we take our creations home straight away?

Not quite – ceramics need a little more patience.

After the session, your creations stay with us to dry and be fired in our kiln. They’ll usually be ready for collection within 2–4 weeks.

We’ll explain after the workshop when and where you can collect your finished pieces.

🗄️ How long will you store our finished pieces?

We’ll store your finished ceramic pieces for one month.

🧃 Are drinks included?

Yes! During the workshop, iced tea and water are available for the kids, while accompanying adults can enjoy coffee and tea.
