Our Neon Action Painting Workshop combines the excitement of Action Painting with the magic of fluorescent colours and UV light, creating artworks that transform before your eyes.

After a short introduction, your artist will guide the group through a series of Action Painting techniques while introducing the artistic principles behind creating a balanced abstract composition. You’ll explore colour relationships, layering, movement, texture and composition, gradually developing your own artwork over approximately two hours. Rather than recreating a predefined motif, every splash, brushstroke and creative decision becomes the starting point for what comes next.

Action Painting is an intuitive creative journey. Your painting evolves through a continuous process of acting, observing and reacting, allowing your composition to grow naturally layer by layer. Throughout the workshop you’ll experiment with acrylic paints, palette knives, bottles, rollers and a wide variety of creative tools while your artist demonstrates techniques, shares artistic guidance and encourages you to discover your own visual language.

Then, halfway through the workshop, everything changes.

The lights go out, the UV lights come on, and your artwork transforms before your eyes. You’ll continue painting with fluorescent colours and glowing accents, discovering how your composition comes alive under blacklight. Colours become more vibrant, textures reveal new dimensions, and your painting takes on an entirely different character.

No two artworks will ever look alike. While everyone explores the same artistic principles together, every participant follows their own creative journey, discovering a unique balance between spontaneity and intention.

This bird isn’t just perched — it’s posing.
A bold, textured bird portrait with creamy layers, colour, and character. In this vibrant painting session, we’re giving the great tit a full-on glamour moment: thick, sculpted strokes, glossy feathers you can almost touch, and a background in unapologetic pink.

You’ll work with modelling paste and rich acrylics to build a portrait that’s part painting, part sculpture — playing with light, shadow, and feather detail until your bird is brimming with personality.
It’s tactile, it’s joyful, and it’s a little bit fabulous.

Step into a radiant alpine world where the air is crystal clear and colours glow with a quiet, powerful intensity. Inspired by the luminous spirit and rhythmic compositions of Ferdinand Hodler, we’ll step into his footsteps and explore how to build a landscape through expressive brushwork and layered painting.

In this session, you’ll learn how to create depth and perspective in a landscape — how distant peaks, water, and sky can unfold through colour, contrast, and structure. We’ll explore how to bring dynamic, energetic detail into the brushwork while still holding the whole composition together as a unified, harmonious scene.

We’ll guide you through shimmering water, luminous layering techniques, and the gentle geometry of alpine peaks. You bring your curiosity and calm focus — and a willingness to enter a landscape that feels slightly brighter, more alive, and more structured than reality itself.

You arrive, take a breath, pick your welcome drink and settle into your spot at the table where the magic will happen. We start on time, so make sure you`re there and ready to dive in.

Next, your instructor takes the stage, giving you a quick, easy intro to the materials — nothing overwhelming, just getting you comfortable and ready to play.

Then the fun really begins. You’ll be guided step by step through the painting process, with plenty of room to play, experiment, and make it your own. Sip your drink, enjoy the moment, and let the creativity flow.

At the end, we bring everyone together for a group photo — your finished piece, great vibes.

No prior experience? No problem! We provide everything:

• Pre-prepared templates

You can choose to paint in pairs, where two canvases become one artwork. The theme is split in two, and each of you paints one half that aligns perfectly with the other.
If your`re interested in painting in pairs, just ask our artists on the spot whether your chosen theme is a good fit — they’ll guide you and set you up!

Time to throw perfection out the window and lean into the mess. In this semi-guided abstract session, we’re mixing bold colours, big moves. After feeding you with some of the coolest inspiration from contemporary abstract painting, you’ll play with layering, texture, and all kinds of expressive techniques until your canvas screams: “Yeah, I meant to do that.” 

It’s not about knowing what you’re doing — it’s about trusting your creative gut and having a damn good time doing it.

Rather than recreating a predefined motif, you’ll gradually develop your own artwork over approximately two hours, allowing every splash, brushstroke and creative decision to influence what comes next.
