Hands in the clay, ideas in action. At Shape and Fun you coil, knead and build your way through a session that is as much fun as it sounds. Each person creates a cup, bowl or plate - and at the end takes home a piece that is truly their own.

The object is determined in advance: Cup, bowl or plate.

Clay in your hands. Bringing ideas into shape.
No potter's wheel, no prior knowledge, no stress. With Shape and Fun, you work directly with your hands: coil, knead, build up. Anyone who has never worked with clay before will realise after a few minutes that it is surprisingly easy and surprisingly difficult to let go.
Each person creates the same object, whether a cup, bowl or plate is decided together in advance. The result is different for each person: different proportions, different surface, different personality. Our instructor will guide you through the basic techniques and give you tips if the clay doesn't want to work.
Ideal for teams who want to create something really solid, for groups who appreciate craftsmanship instead of high-tech or for anyone who simply wants to work with their hands again. After approx. 4 weeks, the pieces are fired, glazed and ready for collection.
