From what age can my child take part in the camp?

Our holiday camp is designed for children aged 6 to 12. Depending on the activity and group size, we make sure that every child receives age-appropriate support.

What makes the Wild at Art holiday camp special?

We combine art, movement, nature & community - creative, relaxed and full of discoveries. No pressure to perform, no boredom - just space for real experimentation and personal development.

Holiday activities for children - creative experiences with a varied programme
In our creative holiday activities for children - such as holiday painting courses - participants have the opportunity to work on a variety of art and craft projects or take part in themed workshops. Depending on the offer, additional activities such as excursions, museum visits, explorations in nature or weather-dependent indoor options such as cinema or group games can also be part of the programme.

A holiday camp can, for example, run on weekdays over a period of two weeks - with a daily supervision time of around 8.45 am to 5.15 pm and a group size of between 4 and 16 children.

Typical daily schedule (example structure)
08:45 - 09:00: Arrival time
09:00 - 10:15: Yoga, dance & other active stimuli
10:15 - 10:30: Healthy Snacks

Concept of creative programmes
The content of such programmes is varied: from traditional drawing and painting techniques to sculpting with clay or mixed media - children can explore different materials and forms of expression. Additional elements such as yoga or movement sessions promote relaxation, mindfulness and strengthen the sense of community.

Taking home the results
At the end of the programmes, the children often receive a personal collection of their work - in the form of a sketchbook or portfolio, for example - as a reminder of what they have experienced and their own creative progress.

What we will be doing

Holiday activities for children: creative experiences and whimsical programmes

In our creative holiday activities for children, participants have the opportunity to work on a variety of art and craft
projects or take part in themed workshops. Supervision is usually provided by experienced professionals from the
artistic or educational field. Aside from two daily art projects, our offer comprises activities such as excursions to
museums, swimming pool visits, explorations in nature or weather-dependent indoor options such as cinema or
group games.

Example of a day at a holiday camp
A holiday camp of this kind can take place on weekdays over a period of one or two weeks - e.g. daily from 08:45 to 17:15 - with a group size of between 4 and 16 children.

Typical daily schedule (example structure)
08:45 - 09:00: Arrival & small snack
09:00 - 10:00: Yoga, dance & other active impulses
10:30 - 12:00: Creative workshop
12:00 - 12:45: Lunch
12:45 - 15:15: Outdoor activities (e.g. explorations, games) e.g. explorations, games)
15:15 - 15:30: Snack break
15:30 - 17:00: Free work or group workshop
17:00 - 17:15: Clean up & pick up

The times and content can be flexibly adapted depending on the weather, group dynamics and focus.

What is included in such a holiday programme?
As a rule, all materials for the artistic work, participation in workshops, exercise activities (e.g. yoga), meals and entrance fees for excursions are included in the price. Transport costs usually have to be organised separately.

Catering during the programme
Healthy snacks in the morning and afternoon as well as a wholesome lunch are often included - especially for all-day participation. Any special dietary requirements or allergies should be communicated in advance so that appropriate consideration can be given.

The creative concept behind the programme
Artistic support covers a wide range of materials and techniques - from traditional media such as pencil, charcoal and crayon to bright colours such as acrylic and watercolour and more advanced media such as oil and pastel chalks. Sculptural work, e.g. with clay, can also be part of the programme. The children are guided by experienced tutors, encouraged to try out new techniques and develop their individual skills.

The combination of art and movement not only encourages creativity, but also promotes mindfulness, concentration and a good sense of community within the group.

Works of art to take home
At the end of the programme, the children usually take their works home with them - e.g. in a personal sketchbook or portfolio. This not only leaves a memory of a creative time, but also a visible documentation of their own development.
