This semi-guided abstract painting session is all about contrast — bold moves, quiet moments, and the magic of gold leaf. We’ll show you how to use this shimmering material to bring depth, light, and a little drama to your canvas.
Whether you layer it delicately or go full shine-mode, gold leaf adds that extra something to any artwork. And here? There are no mistakes — just golden opportunities (see what we did there?).
You’ll experiment with brushes, textures, and techniques, all while tuning into your own style. Abstract art, after all, is about letting go of rules and letting your instincts lead the way.

No prior experience? No problem! We provide everything:

- All the necessary art supplies
- Pre-prepared templates
- Step-by-step guidance from our instructors

In this acrylic session, you’ll paint the little girl from the famous Banksy artwork — this time chasing a heart-shaped balloon — set against a classical Swiss mountain landscape with a contemporary twist. You’ll learn how to create those crisp snow caps on the mountains using a palette knife, while adding your own colour and energy to the hills and sky.
No experience needed — just roll up, follow the guided steps, and enjoy painting something playful, bold, and full of movement.

Our acrylic painting courses last different lengths of time - depending on your choice. There are two- or three-hour courses, four-hour workshops for acrylic painting or free painting. Take a look at our programme and you'll find what you're looking for.
No. Our acrylic painting courses are structured in such a way that both beginners and advanced students can take part in the various courses.
Acrylic paints are perfect for beginners - uncomplicated, versatile and available almost everywhere. They dry quickly, can be mixed with water (no chemicals!) and you can easily paint over mistakes. Whether abstract or realistic, colourful or delicate - almost anything is possible with acrylic. That's why we love working with it in our courses!
Use a soft, damp brush or sponge to create smooth transitions.
Start with just a few colours, try out different brush techniques and discover how you enjoy painting with acrylic the most.
Canvases with a gesso primer are best suited.
Synthetic brushes in various shapes are ideal for acrylic paints.
Modelling or structure paste helps to create interesting effects and textures.
You will achieve optimum results with thicker paper, at least 300 g/m2.
