✨ How the Workshop Works
Think of a Paint It Easy event — but with more time, more technique, and more creative depth. Our workshops are all about learning something new and meaningful while still enjoying the relaxed, feel-good PIE vibe.
Each workshop is guided by a professional artist and focuses on a specific creative technique, style, or material. Whether you’re trying it for the first time or want to deepen existing skills, you’ll get personal guidance, hands-on support, and time to really explore the process.
Most workshops take place in our beautiful, cosy studios in Zürich or Basel — full of colour, creativity, and a welcoming atmosphere. From time to time, we also host them at inspiring partner venues or outdoors in the sunny season.
No stress, no pressure — just a great setting to experiment, learn something new, and create something truly yours.
We provide everything you need:
- A warm and friendly learning environment
- All necessary materials and tools
- A mix of demonstration & individual guidance
- Artistic freedom — everyone interprets the technique their own way
Whether you’re a motivated beginner or a curious creative, this is the space to dive deeper, discover new methods, and leave with a skill that sticks.
🥂 A Toast to Creativity
We kick off every workshop with a complimentary welcome drink — the perfect way to settle in, connect with fellow creatives, and get inspired. Choose from:
• A soft drink or hot drink
• A glass of wine, prosecco, or beer
• Or our rotating Cocktail of the Week
Want to treat yourself? Upgrade to one of our signature cocktails, mocktails, smoothies, or special drinks for just CHF 5–9.
🍴 Hungry for more?
Our Creative Café offers a tasty à la carte menu during the session — featuring wraps, bowls, finger foods, and healthy snacks to keep your energy (and creativity) up. Additional drinks can be ordered at regular menu prices.

Grab a pen. Hit the streets. Sketch it like you mean it.
This one-day workshop is your intro to the world of urban sketching — drawing on location, from life, in your own loose and lively style. You’ll learn to capture buildings, spaces, and atmosphere with quick lines, expressive marks, and your own point of view.
We’ll start with a hands-on intro to sketching basics: shapes, shading, perspective, and how to simplify what you see. Then we head out for a series of guided mini sketching sessions — from leafy parks to cosy cafés to bustling city corners (indoor options too, if it rains).
You’ll use pencils, coloured pencils, pens and markers — and get to try out different tools as you go. We’ll provide everything you need, including a portable sketchpad and a folder to collect your favourite sketches.
✏️ What to Expect:
- Learn the basics of observation, shape, and quick composition
- Sketch at several real locations throughout the day
- Try out a range of materials and techniques
- Get tips, feedback, and support as you draw
- Take home your own mini sketch collection in a tidy A4 folder
No experience needed — just a curious eye, a steady-ish hand, and a sense of adventure. Let’s hit the streets (or the sidewalks) and turn everyday views into little works of art.
