No experience? No worries. Just bring your holiday spirit (and maybe a favourite cookie recipe to share).

We’ll guide you step-by-step through shaping, decorating, and glazing your one-of-a-kind ornaments — perfect for gifting or keeping as a little piece of Christmas cheer.

What you’ll do:

After the event, we’ll glaze and fire your pieces.

Most of our events take place in our beautiful, cosy studios in Zürich and Basel — fully equipped, full of charm, and designed to spark your imagination. Every now and then, we also pop up in partner venues like bars, cafés, or sunny outdoor locations.

In this cozy weekend workshop, you’ll learn how to build vessels the old-school way — by coiling. It’s a technique that dates back thousands of years, but still feels fresh in the right hands (yours). Whether you’re brand new to clay or a curious dabbler looking to deepen your practice, this is your invitation to slow down, get your hands dirty, and make something with soul.

You’ll start with a simple lump of clay and end with a one-of-a-kind, medium-sized vessel (roughly 25–30 cm tall), shaped entirely by you. Along the way, you’ll explore form, texture, and decoration — with plenty of room to experiment, ask questions, and play.

What’s Included:

• Friendly, hands-on instruction from experienced ceramic artists
• Step-by-step demos of traditional coiling techniques

Let’s face it: a statement piece of jewellery can turn an ordinary day into something special. And when they’re handmade by you — from raw clay to lively wearables — they don’t just accessorize, they tell a story.

Over two cosy, creative sessions, you’ll get your hands (and maybe your sleeves) into the world of ceramic jewellery. From soft slabs of clay to the final glint of a polished pearl, you’ll craft pendants and necklaces that are uniquely, beautifully yours.

Session 1: Shape Your Style
We’ll start from the ground up — literally. In 2,5 hours You’ll explore different clay types, learn how to handle and shape them, and experiment with hand-building techniques like pinching and slab work. With guidance from our instructors, you’ll bring your ideas to life, refining each curve and contour until your designs feel just right.

Session 2: Fire, Finish & Flaunt
Two weeks later, when your pieces are fired, it’s time to add the magic. You’ll dive into jewellery assembly, learning how to pair your ceramic forms with metal findings and luminous pearls. Step by step, we’ll guide you through assembling and securing your pieces — ready to wear, gift, or show off with pride. This session is only 1 hour, giving you all the tools and parts that you need for assembly.

By the end, you’ll walk away with:
