Afterschool
Afterschool painting courses in Switzerland
Dabbling, scribbling, creating art - the most creative afternoon courses for children in Switzerland.
Colours, fantasy, relaxation & lots of fun
Homework can wait. Now it's time to paint. Our afterschool painting courses are the perfect mix of artistic freedom and creative guidance. Your child can paint, stamp or even work with their hands to their heart's content - the main thing is to have fun.
Mixing colours, shapes and ideas not only trains creativity, but also concentration and fine motor skills.
There are no wrong strokes here - only new possibilities. Mistakes? There are none. Only exciting art experiments!
Your child can make new friends and give free rein to their creativity. And don't worry: spillages are allowed.

Little Brushes (7-11 years)
"Little Brushes" is our ongoing art course for children aged 6 to 12. Here, little artists can develop their creativity freely, try out different techniques and have lots of fun in the process! The course is open to all levels of experience. We offer weekly themes and inspiration, guide the children individually and encourage them to discover their own styles.
Monday to Friday 4.15 - 6.15 pm (from 3 children per session)
Saturday 10.15 - 12.15 pm (parents can join in!)
16.15 - 16.30 Arrival & preparation
16.30 - 18.00 Own project or participation in the group workshop
18.00 - 18.15 Clean-up & playtime
Every week, the children learn new materials and techniques - e.g. watercolour, acrylic, pastel or pencil. It's not just about painting, but also about safety, handling tools and creative freedom. The children are allowed to "mess around", experiment and express themselves freely.
Healthy snacks and smoothies are served in the middle of each session to keep you energised.
We encourage creative work with a variety of materials such as charcoal, pencil, watercolour, acrylic, oil and soft pastel - as well as with exciting tools such as palette knives, sponges, fingers, cotton buds and much more.
We draw inspiration from artists such as Monet, Picasso and Kandinsky, as well as from art styles such as pointillism, abstraction and expressionism.
Children can work freely on their own projects or take part in workshops prepared by teachers according to their interests.
Two art teachers accompany each session so that all children receive individual attention.
All works are collected in a personal sketchbook. At the end of each semester there is a small exhibition for parents.
All materials, snacks and smoothies are included in the course price.
The sketchbook (A3, spiral binding, min. 250 g/m², suitable for mixed media) can be purchased separately - please contact us for a special price.

Teen Spirit (12-16 years)
"Teen Spirit" is our ongoing art course for young people aged between 12 and 17. The aim is to develop artistic skills, learn new techniques and discover and strengthen their own creative expression. The course is aimed at all levels of experience and offers an inspiring atmosphere with professional guidance - with maximum freedom to choose your own pace and set personal goals.
Monday to Friday, 4.30 - 6.30 pm
Course time: 4.45 - 6.15 pm
Arrive, set up, start - then work together. A gentle start and a relaxed finish are part of our concept.
Every week, we dive into new techniques and themes together - from watercolour and acrylic to oil pastels, charcoal and pencil drawings. The aim is to teach technical skills and at the same time create space for your own ideas and individual works. During the course, participants will create their own small collection or portfolio that they can be proud of.
The course is open and can be started at any time - completely flexible with our PIE Teens Passes. It is possible to join at any time.
Course times by arrangement, e.g. afternoons or early evenings - depending on group size and participant availability.
Just give it a try?
Sure! A taster session is possible - just let us know in advance and pay on site in cash, by card or TWINT.
Our experienced art teacher guides them through technical topics and provides specific impulses. At the same time, the young people have the freedom to pursue their artistic interests - whether figurative, abstract or experimental. They work with high-quality materials, versatile tools and, of course, an extra portion of creativity.
All materials are included in the course price.
The personal sketchbook (for the collection and development of the works) must be purchased separately. We recommend the following specifications:
- A3 format
- Spiral binding
- At least 250 g/m²
- Suitable for mixed media
The book can be purchased from us at a reduced price.
All works are collected in a separate sketchbook - ideal for documenting progress and, if desired, developing a meaningful portfolio for applications (e.g. to art schools).
