What we will be doing
Sculpt. Swipe. Smear. Flower it up.
Get ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into floral art with real dimension. In this hands-on workshop, we’re swapping brushes for palette knives (and maybe a spoon or two) to shape, swipe, and sculpt your own textured masterpiece — all using plaster and modeling paste.
Whether you go bold and chunky or soft and delicate, you’ll learn how to build raised floral forms that are just as satisfying to touch as they are to look at.
Once you’re happy with the texture, you’ll choose your next step:
- Add colour and bring it to life now,
- Or let it dry and come back to paint it later — our studio’s always open for round two.
No experience? No problem.
This one’s perfect for beginners, trowel-lovers, and anyone who likes their art with a bit of sculpted flair.
You’ll leave with a piece that’s uniquely yours — floral, fabulous, and full of texture.
✨ How PIE Workshops Work
Think of a Paint It Easy event — but with more time, more technique, and more creative depth. Our workshops are all about learning something new and meaningful while still enjoying the relaxed, feel-good PIE vibe.
Each workshop is guided by a professional artist and focuses on a specific creative technique, style, or material. Whether you’re trying it for the first time or want to deepen existing skills, you’ll get personal guidance, hands-on support, and time to really explore the process.
Most workshops take place in our beautiful, cosy studios in Zürich or Basel — full of colour, creativity, and a welcoming atmosphere. From time to time, we also host them at inspiring partner venues or outdoors in the sunny season.
No stress, no pressure — just a great setting to experiment, learn something new, and create something truly yours.
We provide everything you need:
- A warm and friendly learning environment
- All necessary materials and tools
- A mix of demonstration & individual guidance
- Artistic freedom — everyone interprets the technique their own way
Whether you’re a motivated beginner or a curious creative, this is the space to dive deeper, discover new methods, and leave with a skill that sticks.
🥂 A Toast to Creativity
We kick off every workshop with a complimentary welcome drink — the perfect way to settle in, connect with fellow creatives, and get inspired. Choose from:
• A soft drink or hot drink
• A glass of wine, prosecco, or beer
• Or our rotating Cocktail of the Week
Want to treat yourself? Upgrade to one of our signature cocktails, mocktails, smoothies, or special drinks for just CHF 5–9.
🍴 Hungry for more?
Our Creative Café offers a tasty à la carte menu during the session — featuring wraps, bowls, finger foods, and healthy snacks to keep your energy (and creativity) up. Additional drinks can be ordered at regular menu prices.

Learn more about PIE Workshops
We’ll be working with Modeling Paste and Plaster of Paris to sculpt beautiful floral textures. These materials give your artwork a rich, raised surface that’s ready for color and creativity!
This workshop focuses on creating the textured base. If you use a light amount of paste, your piece may dry enough to try painting during the session. Either way, you’ll get acrylic paints to take home or you’re welcome to return to our studio to paint once it’s fully dry!
Absolutely! We’ll have templates and inspiration available, but you’re free to sketch and sculpt your own floral vision. Whether you love roses, wildflowers, or abstract blooms—it’s your creation!
