What we will be doing
Sunshine, fresh air, and a canvas — it’s time to take your creativity outside.
In this special outdoor painting session, we’ll set up under the trees at Zürich’s Rentenwiese, with a breathtaking view of the Alps and sailboats gliding across the lake. It’s a dreamy scene – and now it’s your turn to capture it on canvas.
🍾 Oh, and yes — there will be prosecco. Chilling in ice buckets, just waiting for you.
🖌️ What You’ll Paint
A picturesque lakeside scene with mountain peaks, boats in motion, sparkling water and sky — full of light, movement and serenity.
You can paint it classic, bold, abstract, soft — we’ll guide you through, step by step, just like at every PIE event.
💡 What to Expect
- We’ll be painting plein air (aka outdoors!)
- You’ll get a template & tracing paper to help with composition
- Our lovely instructor will paint along and guide you personally
- Chill vibes, good company, and creative flow all around
🕓 When & What to Bring
- Arrive 10–15 minutes early to settle in, grab a drink, and pick your perfect painting spot.
- We’ll provide aprons, but maybe skip the white linen – it could get colourful.
🌦️ Weather Check
If it rains, no worries — we’ll reschedule for the next sunny slot. If you can’t make the new date, we’ll refund your ticket in full. Easy.
📋 Good to Know
- Address: General-Guisan-Quai 31 (Rentenwiese)
- Arrival: Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to grab your drink and settle in.
- Cancellations: Tickets are transferable but non-refundable within 36 hours. You can reschedule your spot up to 72 hours before the event.
- All ages welcome: Children from age 6 and up with a guardian.
- Alcohol: Served only to guests aged 18+.

You can upgrade to a larger canvas or even a round one (40 cm diameter) — just choose the option when booking your ticket, or decide spontaneously at the event.

Couples, besties, or family duos — this one’s for you:
You can choose to paint in pairs, where two canvases become one artwork. The theme will be split in two, and each of you paints one half that aligns perfectly with the other.
Just let us know on the spot, and we’ll set you up!
