What we will be doing

This hands-on workshop is your chance to explore the magic of Impressionistic still life — a bold and intuitive way of painting that turns everyday objects into radiant compositions full of colour, light, and texture.
You’ll learn how to:
- Mix rich, luminous colour palettes
- Build loose, dynamic compositions
- Capture light and shadow without overthinking
- Use expressive brushwork to bring your objects to life
- Embrace spontaneity and imperfection — that’s where the magic is
Whether you’re painting a bouquet, a bowl of fruit, or a beautiful mess of objects, we’ll guide you step by step — while also giving you space to explore your own style and instincts.
This workshop is beginner-friendly, relaxed, and all about learning through doing. You’ll leave with your own vibrant still life painting and the tools to keep going confidently on your impressionist journey.

Most workshops take place in our beautiful, cosy studios in Zürich or Basel — full of colour, creativity, and a welcoming atmosphere. From time to time, we also host them at inspiring partner venues or outdoors in the sunny season.

Saturday morning art fun for kids (and cool parents too)
No need to change out of your jammies — just roll in, grab a smoothie, and get painting!
This fun-filled Saturday class is made for kids aged 6–12 and packed with creative projects, giggles, and good vibes. Parents are welcome to join and paint side-by-side with their little artists (yes, matching masterpieces are totally a thing).
Here’s how it flows:
🕥 10:15–10:30 → Drop-off + smoothies & snacks
🎨 10:30–12:00 → Guided art project time
📸 12:00–12:15 → Pick-up + silly family photos (encouraged!)
The theme changes every week, but one thing’s for sure: it’ll be a crowd-pleaser — colourful, fun, and totally kid-approved.
We usually paint on high-quality art paper, but if you’d like to upgrade to canvas (perfect for framing or exhibiting), just let us know on the day.
