What we will be doing

Shapes, colour, chaos — now with meaning.

Ready to ditch the rules and paint what you feel? This four-week course is your entry point into the expressive, vibrant, wonderfully weird world of abstract painting.

Whether you’re totally new to painting or looking to break out of realism and explore new ground, we’ll guide you through the process of building powerful abstract compositions — from shape, line, and colour, to texture, layering, and intuition.

You’ll try different tools, experiment with techniques, and learn to trust your instincts — all while finding your own unique visual voice.

✏️ What to Expect:

  • Weekly sessions with step-by-step guidance
  • A mix of hands-on exercises and playful exploration
  • Insightful discussions & friendly feedback
  • A full toolkit of materials, provided by us
  • Safe storage of your works, and a beautifully packed portfolio to take home at the end

🧠 What You’ll Learn:

  • How to use colour, shape, line, and texture to build strong abstract compositions
  • Techniques for intuitive painting and embracing happy accidents
  • Tips to loosen up, layer like a pro, and trust your creative gut
  • How to develop a personal style that feels so you

🎁 What’s Included

We provide everything you need to get started, including:

  • All painting tools and materials
  • Medium-specific surfaces, supports, and gear (boards, paper, etc.)

Just bring your curiosity and a positive attitude — we’ll take care of the rest!

🥂 First Class Vibes: Sips, Snacks & Hellos

We like to start things off on a warm and social note. During the first class, we’ll take a little extra time to get to know each other — and we’ll celebrate the beginning of your creative journey with a complimentary welcome drink. Choose from:

  • A soft drink or hot drink
  • A glass of wine, prosecco, or beer
  • Or our rotating Cocktail of the Week

You can also upgrade to one of our signature drinks, mocktails, or smoothies for just CHF 5–9.

🍴 Feeling peckish?

Our Creative Café offers a delicious à la carte menu during class sessions — think wraps, salad bowls, finger foods, and light snacks — perfect for staying energized while you create. Extra drinks are available at standard menu prices.
