What is included:

Is this course right for me?

This course is designed for beginners with no previous watercolor painting experience or knowledge. Those with some experience can also benefit from the course as it can help to organize existing knowledge and develop effective working processes. For more experienced students, we recommend attending our intermediate level thematic courses, or joining our studio classes.

Some important things to keep in mind:

  • We encourage all students to arrive 15 minutes before the start of class. This will allow us to start on time and will give you the opportunity to socialize with other students and share painting tips, discuss at-home practice, and provide help or receive help from others. This will help everyone improve their skills and achieve better results.
  • We will be happy to store your artwork throughout the course. On the last class we nicely package it so you can take it home and have guiding references while practicing your newly acquired skills.
  • This course will provide you with the basic knowledge and skills needed for watercolor painting, but it is important to practice regularly to fully incorporate this knowledge. Our studio classes offer the opportunity to continue practicing in a community of like-minded individuals up to two days a week (coming soon to PIE Zürich...).
