Abstract improvisation
on XXL canvases

Sunday, 15th May
16:00 - 19:00

“Art is a natural way to practice mindfulness. The colors, textures and sounds of creating pull us into the moment. You don’t need any previous training to meditate through art, just a willingness to draw like a child, with freedom and a sense of curiosity.” That is why we are inviting you to bring your freedom, curiosity, and inner-child down to our studio. Paint away your pressures, simply focus your mind on embracing messiness, and let art express the things you can’t articulate.

Free Trial
Painting Event

Sat, 23 April
14:30 - 17:00

Come and visit our Studio, join this guided painting event for free and experience the inspiring atmosphere of Paint It Easy. The purpose of this event is to offer a special occasion to have a taste of PIE free from commitments. We are expecting guests, who have never participated in any of our events / classes / trial- or private events yet and who would likely be interested in other programs of Paint It Easy.

Planter Painting

Pimp your Herb Garden!!

Get your creative juices flowing with our Planter Painting Workshop. You will play with colour, shapes and patterns and with the help of Aisté from @nice_things_ch you can design your own windowsill herb garden for this spring season. By the end of the class you will have created your very own waterproof ceramic planter which you can fill with soil and saw your seeds into.

To make the experience even more wholesome, we offer an optional Brunch menu from La Manufacture to enjoy while spicing up your herb garden.

Print your own bag

Sunday, 8 May 11:00-15:30

This workshop provides an introduction to a classical printmaking technique through the process of making a linocut print. The design (or drawing) is copied onto the linoleum surface and carved with a special V-shaped knife. Then the linoleum plate is inked with a roller and impressed onto paper or fabric. The finished print will be a mirror image of your original drawing. The actual printing is done by hand and can be repeated several times and with different colors.
Available with Brunch option!

Oooooooohmmmm

Jump into the mesmerising world of Mandalas with Marc Wittlin

Drawing mandalas is a wonderful activity for meditation, self-expression, quieting the mind and soothing the body. You don’t need to be an artist to create beautiful mandalas or benefit from the practice.

In this workshop, you will learn what a mandala is and a demonstration on how to construct the outline of a mandala with some fine markers and give it a beautiful design. By the end of the workshop, you will have their very own mandala to decorate and meditate more often using this art form.

Urban Arts Workshop

An authentic journey to the land of markers, stencils, tags and spray cans.

Ready to get down and dirty with graffiti? Enjoy a hands-on lesson where you will learn about this controversial art form. In recent years graffiti and street art have become increasingly more popular and appreciated by the public. Simple scrawls have evolved into detailed mural compositions. Now is the time to learn more about this exploding artistic phenomenon!

Fluid Art

with @janinasartventures

Acrylic Pouring is a rather hypnotic and meditative approach to creating abstract art which often leads to stunning results... and even when it doesn't, the process is so satisfying and fun.

By making the acrylic paint liquid, it can be poured onto a canvas in a multitude of ways letting the paint splat, ooze and mix right in front of your eyes creating unimaginable patterns just as you tilt your canvas. It is all in your hands! Suitable for beginners, experts, and all lovers of some mess and chaos, this 3-to-4-hour workshop will look at how different techniques and colour combinations can create abstract art so beautiful, everyone will think you planned it all along.

Candle making

Galentine‘s Brunch!!!

This ultimate Sunday morning winter warmers workshop focused on combining some of our favourites: candles and brunch!

Guests can learn the art of candle making, by creating three natural wax candles, hand poured with the guidance of Aiste of @nice_things_ch. Prepare to get hints about fragrance and colour blending, wax and wick sizes, candle care and the techniques behind melting, mixing and pouring. To make the experience even more wholesome, we offer an optional Brunch menu from La Manufacture to enjoy while the wax is cooling down.

The Art of Drawing Letters

Handlettering "bootcamp":
create your own calendar for ‘22

You always wanted to know how to make beautiful postcards? How they write these cool-looking words on the windows in cafes and bars? Or you just want to stop spending so much time in front of a screen and create something great with your own hands? Then handlettering is for you!

Document your personal experiences
in the culture of the city

What is urban sketching? It's basically drawing on location, capturing and documenting what we see from direct observation, indoors and outdoors. Urban sketchers tell the story of their surroundings, their point of view, the places they live and where they travel. The drawings are a record of a certain point in time and place. This course is created for sketching enthusiasts with no prior experience, that wish to begin their sketching journey.

How do i sign up for an event?

Select which painting you would like to paint and add it to your cart by clicking “Let’s paint!” Follow the on-screen directions to complete the order. Contact us if you have trouble completing your order and we will walk you through the process.

WHAT IS THE LANGUAGE OF THE Event?

Our courses are basically English speaking. Receiving explanations in German, French, Italian and Hungarian 😀 is also possible. We can also greet you in Greek.

What is the difference between a 'maestro' and a 'Classic' guided painting event?

On a ‘Maestro’ event we are recreating a somewhat popular masterpiece of art history. These pictures are carefully selected and have been broken down to manageable steps even for complete beginners. It is truly fascinating to understand what has made these pieces of art so acclaimed, by imitating their famous brushstrokes. Due to the complexity of these pictures ‘Maestro’ events last for approx. 3 hours.

What is a 'promo' event?

Every now and then, we offer our classic events at an exceptionally economic price, 35 CHF!  The maximum number of participants is 24, and you will be painting at our cool, long studio tables. This kind of promotional event is in favor of those, who feel like tasting a piece of PIE before going for the whole, and this is totally fine with us.

What is a workshop?

We are putting a great effort to distinguish ‘Events’, ‘Workshops’ and ‘Courses’ since they are indeed different here at Paint It Easy. Events want to be a creative, refreshing and entertaining going-out alternative, while Workshops are designed to teach something or develop a specific skill while still remaining a fun activity. Held by local guest artists!

What is a Course?

Weekly, in-depth visual art explorations during 4 to 12 weeks. During the two-hour-long painting classes you will learn to handle mediums, materials and surfaces, and to realize figurative or abstract images on beginners’ level.
