Taltal Levi is a children book illustrator and author based in Basel. She moved to Switzerland from Israel to study illustration at the Lucerne University of Art and Design, and graduated with a bachelor degree in Illustration Fiction. She has since published two children books with NordSüd Publishing House and is currently working on her third book.

In this workshop you will learn to have fun with watercolors while discovering the basic techniques of the medium.
We will create three A3 watercolor paintings, which will allow us to experiment using a modern and illustrative approach to botanical painting.
Together we will cover some basic watercolour techniques, such as, transparency levels, water control, gradients and paint saturation, as well as understanding the weight and precision needed to using a brush for achieving fine details.
