How to book?

Private events are booked by placing a refundable deposit to secure your desired date and time (after availability is confirmed by the studio). Get in touch with us on our contact form below and start planning your desired event together.

What’s included?

We want your event to be fun, organized and effortless. We provide you with all the supplies needed for a party, including a professional  artist instructor and a barman to host & guide your guests through the event.

  • All events are hosted by a local, contemporary artist and a bartender.

  • Prices contain all art materials and equipment (paints, brushes, 30×40 cm canvas, apron etc.)

Private Party Room

In-studio parties will have an entire room to themselves, with plenty of space for all guests. Our smaller painting room can hold 12 seats with A-frame standing easels, while the larger art atelier can hold 24 seats, equipped with tabletop easels. In case of more than 24 people, we organize the event at the Markthalle or at a location of your choice.

  • Our studio is equipped with ice and ice buckets to make it easier to keep drinks and food at the right temperature. You’ll also have counter space for food or gifts. Complimentary plates, napkins and silverware are available for our guest to use.

  • We provide real glassware for all guests and everyone is welcome to use. No need to go out and buy disposable cups!

  • We’ll have a crowd-pleasing playlist ready for you. Or, you can tell us what sort of music you’d like for your event and we’ll tailor a playlist to your needs. And don’t worry – we make sure the music doesn’t get in the way of hearing the artist’s instructions.

Event details

Final headcount for all private parties are due 48 hours prior to your event date. Unless you’ve worked out other arrangements with us, doors will open 30 minutes before painting starts. This gives guests time to arrive, settle in and socialize, and gives the host time to set up food or other items for the party. 

  • Language of the events: English. We speak German, French and Italian too.

  • The actual painting time varies between 2 and 3 hours (recommendation and applies to standard 30 cm x 40 cm paintings painted individually). This can vary according to special themes and features.

The events start 30 minutes before the painting and finish 30 minutes after the last brushstrokes. When planning your party, calculate with an extra hour upon the painting time.

Painting Selection

You don’t have to choose a painting in order to book an event, but the final selection must be confirmed with the studio at least one week before your event date.

  • From our constantly growing catalouge you can choose from Standard and Maestro paintings, 2 or 3 hours long respectively. (see catalogue)

  • If you need assistance choosing the right painting for your group, just get in touch with us.

  • Interested in extra features, like bringing your own theme, painting a mosaic, painting a gigantic piece together, graffiti, acrylic pouring, or an unforgettable Bachelor/ette party? We can’t think of anything, that would not be possible, so just get in touch with us!


  • 3-hour-long event (guided painting in 2 hours + 1 extra hour): 65 CHF/person

  • 4-hour-long event (painting ‘maestro‘ in 3 hours + 1 extra hour): 75 CHF/person

  • 2-hour-long event (no extra hour): 59 CHF/person

  • Minimum expense for all private events: 300 CHF (in studio, weekdays until 5pm); weekdays after 5pm + weekends, other venues: 500CHF

  • Extra hours: 50 CHF / each hour strated

  Fees of extra features:

  • Musical chairs: no additional cost

  • Mosaic painting: ask for an offer

  • Bring your own theme: ≈+100-150 CHF, ask for offer

  • Painting outdoors: +10 CHF/person

  • Graffiti painting: ask for an offer

  • Larger canvas (40cm x 50cm): +5CHF/person

  • Collaborate XXL: ask for an offer

  • Pouring Acrylics: ask for an offer


Once we confirm availability, you can officially book with a refundable deposit. 

  • Amount: 200 CHF

  • Cancellation – A private party may be canceled with deposit refunded, with at least 14 days’ notice (Monday-Sunday) before the originally scheduled event date.

  • Reschedule – A private party may be rescheduled with full deposit applied, with at least 7 days’ notice (Monday-Sunday) before the originally scheduled event date. Cancellation less than a week notice will have to pay in full.


We have some preferred local caterers that can provide food for your event. We have plates, glassware, kitchenware here on site if you’d like to use those.

  • Upon request, we’re happy to arrange your catering with the Markthalle/La Manufacture. Do you have your own partners? We are happy to work with them

  • Some great pizzerias, like Vito, are just around the corner – why not ordering pizza to the Studio?


Equipped with a bar, a cozy lounge and a fine selection of drinks from rhubarb-shorley to gin & tonic. We want you to feel like you’re having a party in your fab friend’s living room — no cleanup required.

  • Spice up the experience with an “all you can drink” option, only for 30 CHF/person!

  • We have a donation based minibar with various soft drinks, wines, beers, gins and spritzers.
