‘Paint & Brunch‘ - Abstract florals in the park

An extraordinary painting experience in the park accompanied by the finest Sunday Brunch by La Manufacture and fresh coffee from Zum Kuss. Let‘s celebrate carefree summer mornings with abstract floral paintings, crispy croissants and the voice of Norah Jones.

The locatioThe De-Wette Park is situated just in front of the main railway station at the beginning of Elisabethenstrasse. It is a beautiful little park which offers a place to relax, have a beer or play in the grass  in the vicinity of the city centre.

Did you know? The park used to be a cemetery until the beginning of the 20th century. After the new building of the schoolhouse was built, the bodies were exhumated. The Band Pavilion (Musikpavillon), where we are painting, was built in the southeast corner of the former cemetery in 1905.

What’s the difference between this special event and PIE guided painting events? Unlike other guided painting events, the focus here will not be the recreation of a predetermined image, but to create aesthetically pleasing, floral-like abstraction on your canvas. We will prepare  inspirational photos, demonstrate numerous techniques and tools and Patricia will be providing personal assistance  for the painters.

What is for brunch? The brunch is à-la-carte. We will ask you to send your order in an email 24hrs prior to the event. The price of the event includes 8 coupons. Use these coupons to order your preferred breakfast. The Menu can be found on the product page, so hit the pink button to check it out. After your registration, you will also receive it in .pdf via email.

When to arrive / what to wear? Please arrive 10-15 mins before the event starts. Doing so we will have time to order your coffee/tea, meet the fellow painters and get into the mood for creativity. You’ll get an apron, however, we recommend not to wear your favourite clothes. Acrylic paint cannot be removed from the fabric.

+++In case of precipitation, we will be still covered inside the pavilion. If worst comes to worth, we will have the session indoors
